The  instructor, the suggested playing level and a very tentative location for each class is indicated in parenthesis

Sunday

6:30 pm - 8:00 pm: Meet the Faculty followed by the First Class of the Workshop, the "All-Workshop Ensemble" (chapel)

8:00 pm - 9:00 pm: English Country Dancing  (campus center)

  Monday - Tuesday - Thursday - Friday

9:00 am:  Ensemble Classes for Recorder, Flute & Viola da Gamba ( pre-assigned, Bold & Chapel)

10:30 am : Select a class for the week -

• Baroque Trio Sonatas (Geert & Patty, Int 2, limited number of spaces, Bold)
• Truly Contemporary recorder ensemble (Majbritt, Int 2, Bold)
• Vocal Ensemble, instrumental accompaniment (Ellen, voices all levels, inst Int 2, chapel)
• Rhythm for All (Danny, all levels, Bold)
  

1:00 pm: Coached Consorts (pre-assigned, Bold & Chapel)

2:30 pm:  Select a class for the week -

• Renaissance Band (Stew, all instruments, all levels, Chapel)
• Two-part Motets of Orlandso di Lasso (James, Int 2, recorders & viols, Bold)
• Introduction to Viols (Patty, viols available to borrow, Bold)

3:45 pm: Select a class for the week -

• From Dufay to Bach: Compositional Practices of the Giants of Early Music (Stew, lecture/playing, Bold)
• Bass Recorder Consort (James, Chapel)
• Beyond Baroque: traditional, jazz, and more (Chris Rua, Int 1 with chromatic scales, Bold)
• Frame drumming (Danny, new and experienced drummers, Bold)
• Playing with Harpsichord (rehearse with our staff harpsichordist , sign up at the workshop)

5:00 pm: Select a class for the week -

• Yoga for Musicians (Majbritt, Bold)
• Introduction to Harp (harps to borrow, Bold)
• Crumhorn consort (Chris Rua, Bold)
• Percussion Solutions for Consorts (Danny, Bold)
• Playing with Harpsichord (rehearse with our staff harpsichordist , sign up at the workshop)

7:00 pm - All-Workshop Ensemble  (S,M,T,Th, chapel)

               - All Student Class concert (Fri, Chapel)

8:00 pm - English Country Dance (S,M,T, Campus Center)

               - AD-hoc student concert (Th, Chapel)

Wednesday

9:00 am: regular Morning Ensemble Classes for Recorder, Flute & Viola da Gamba ( pre-assigned)

10:45 am : Master Class (pre-register to perform, chapel)

1:00 pm: regular Afternoon Coached Consorts (pre-assigned)

2:30 pm: Special lecture program for students (Bold)

7:30 pm:  Faculty Concert (chapel)
